Look at me! – a tell-all exposé – uncover the truth about the CBS and the cosmetic surgery it undertook to beautify its administrator and trainer interfaces.

The new Classroom Booking System (CBS) trainer and administrator interfaces are here!
We recognise that the CBS tool was full of potential but lacking in practical application; this may have caused you frustration. We’re here to rectify that.
BEFORE
The previous CBS display for administrators and trainers was old and clunky. It had menu items at the top of the page, which were similar but not quite in line with how our menu items appear in our other, more modern products.
With our new interfaces, comes cleaner lines and a more vibrant look, which is a similar feel to the Learning Management System (LMS) and in line with your portal branding. And everything is permission-based and all administrator and trainer settings have been moved from the old platform to the new.
With this new platform version, we have strived to meet the evolving needs of our users by incorporating a sleek and modern design, intuitive navigation, and a user-friendly interface. The key driving force behind this major upgrade was to enhance your overall user experience with an aim to ensure seamless navigation and improve accessibility.
You can access the new interfaces via the Admin menu on your portal. The system navigates you to the right interface based on your CBS permissions, which are assigned in the LMS - please see the In the not-too-distant future, your CBS domain will reign supreme product update if you would like more information about CBS site roles.
Other changes to note
We’ve also made the following changes to the interface(s) for clarity purposes or to bring the application more in line with our other products:
- In relation to seating options, the Not Applicable checkbox is now called Unlimited Seats. You can find this checkbox in the Classroom Details section when creating or editing a session.
- In the Session Enrolment tab, the Available seats column is now called Total Seats and the Seats Remaining column is now called Available Seats.
- Reporting and email templates have been updated to reflect with these name changes.
