Transport Layer Security Protocol (TLS) update
Update your systems to use TLS 1.2 compatible connections
To maintain the highest security standards and promote the safety of your data, Kineo is updating the minimum supported version of Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption protocol. Transport layer security (TLS) is a protocol that provides communication security between client/server applications that communicate with each other over the Internet. It enables privacy, integrity and protection for the data that's transmitted between different nodes on the Internet.
From 5th November 2019 onwards, all inbound connections to or outbound connections from your systems to Learning portal and Sitepass 2 application must use TLS 1.2. Clients using TLS 1.1 and lower will be blocked.
All major browser versions released since 2013 already support TLS 1.2, however you should verify, API integrations, and other applications are compliant with TLS 1.2.
