We have updated our course on South Australian Work Health and Safety Legislation to align to current best practices.
Course Overview:
This course has been developed to provide the learner with an introduction to work health and safety legislation, as well as some of the key requirements of the model WHS legislation. This course provides an overview of the model Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA), regulations and code of practice.
This course provides an overview of the model Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA), regulations and code of practice. It looks at:
- key terms in the legislation
- the duties associated with particular roles in the workplace
- how the legislation is enforced, and
- strategies for managing health and safety in the workplace to help meet legislation requirements.
Reasons and benefits of the update:
This product has been updated to ensure alignment with the current South Australian Work Health and Safety Regulations.
The product has been converted into Responsive format. We recommend that clients update to the new units for an improved learner experience.
Changes have also been made to pre-assessment questions and/or references to legislation that only affect some sections and learning outcomes. We therefore recommend that clients update to the new units and use Adaptics to determine which sections of the training learners need to review.
This product has also been updated to provide more relevant imagery and text modifications in line with current terminology. This course features some great illustration, animation and activities, including the new drag & drop: swipe left/swipe right style for Responsive delivery.
