Shhhhhh, don’t tell anyone, it’s a secret!
Self-serviceEnrol your users in a secret group when they create an account via the self-registration page.
Self-registration has a new setting – Secret Group!
When enabled, your users can be automatically added to a secret group of your choosing when they self-register via your site. They won’t even know you’ve added them!
You can select Secret Group as one of your Group Selection types in Configuration via:
- Site Settings > Access & Security > Self Registration > + Add a group button > Type = Secret Group.
The Secret Group creates a secret link that can be given to a user for self-registration purposes. When they self-register using that link their account is assigned to your secret group (the one that was set by the administrator in Configuration).
It’s as simple as that!
Tip! The link’s URL contains the group’s group ID.
