Resources allows administrators to easily distribute to their staff, contractors of volunteer’s access to a library of documents, links, videos, audio and other files directly from the self-service portal.  This product release introduces a major update to the Resources system including the following new features and benefits:

• User interface design update for Resource Management, which aligns this application to the version 9 design, usability, and incorporating custom branding and theming.
• Resources management has been designed with responsive design, allowing the management of resources to be actioned from a mobile device. 
• New resources management dashboard, that displays recently modified resources and includes quick action options.
• Enable resources to be public, allowing users to browse resources without the need to login to the portal. 
• New search which will help users to find resources and folders efficiently.
• Files and links are mapped to an icon to help users identify the type of resource available
• Images will be displayed to users as thumbnails, making it possible to setup a library of images.
• Videos uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo will play directly from the resources page without navigating the user away to another website.
• Storage of all files will be in Amazon S3 introducing improved performance, security, stability and availability of all resources captured.

Migration to version 9 and the new self-service portal is required to update to the new version of the Resources system.
