Welcome to the new CBS student page, a welcoming and inclusive space keenly created by the coolest kids in town. This place will quickly become the trendiest spot, a vibrant and welcoming session hub where your students can enrol in sessions and access their training information. Let them know the Course Details page has arrived – and they can be there or be square!
The Classroom Booking System has a new page. The Course Details page is designed to streamline the enrolment process. It shows the details of a course and makes the session enrolment process simple and convenient for students. It reduces administrative tasks by allowing students to self-service, saving time and effort for both users and administrators.
The page is a user-friendly interface that enables students to easily enrol and unenroll from a session. It contains three sections:
- Basic Details – includes the course's name, its category, cost, associated website, and provider(s).
- Enrolled Sessions – when the student is enrolled in a session for that course it displays here along with the session’s trainer(s), location, start and finish times and dates, and whether there are any available seats left for the session. This section also allows the student to unenrol from a session.
- The Scheduled Sessions – lists all available sessions for the course along with the session’s trainer(s), location, start and finish times and dates, and whether there are any available seats for that session. The student can use this section to enrol in a session. Sessions that are pending approval (that is, they are awaiting approval by a CBS Administrator) are also shown here.
To make attendance as easy as possible, we’ve added a link to google maps for face-to-face sessions and a meeting link for online meetings.
The Course Details page contains all the information your students need to easily access and enrol in their learning sessions. Enabling self-service empowers your students, allowing them to take control of their own learning. And by reducing administrative tasks, the new page gives you the room to improve efficiency and reduce costs, which can benefit everyone involved.
Find the Course Details page
Students can find the Course Details page by clicking the link in the Course column, which they can find via the:
- My sessions page - the Course column is available in both the Enrolled Sessions and Pending Session tabs.
- View Sessions in My Area page.
Students can also open the Course Details page by clicking on the View button, which they can find on the Search Courses and Sessions page (the button is within the Sessions column).
