The CBS Attendance Report has a new look – these changes provide you with more control, a sleeker layout, and a smoother Classroom Booking experience.

We’ve also built new settings – your admins can use these to control the information displayed within the report.

From column control to automatic layout adjustments, this update makes managing attendance simpler and more professional than ever. With this flexibility you can create more consistency across your organisation.
 

Improvement Summary

Here’s an overview of what we’ve changed:

• Classroom Booking Administrators can:
  • Switch on settings that allow certain columns to appear in the report.
  • Choose how students are ordered in the report, whether that be by First Name, Surname, or Enrolment Date.
• The PDF created by the report is now aligned with your Portal’s branding, including colours and logo.
• The report automatically adjusts its layout orientation for the best readability.
• Information in multi-page reports flows seamlessly from one page to the next.
   

New Admin Controls

Classroom Booking Administrators can choose which columns appear in the CBS Attendance Report by opening the CBS and heading to:

• Menu > Settings > Attendance Form Settings.

The columns available to choose from are:

• Include Account ID column (selected by default)
• Include Employee Reference column (selected by default)
• Include Company column
• Include State column
• Include Dietary and/or Learning Requirements column
• Include Status column (selected by default)
• Include empty column for Signature (selected by default)
• Include empty column for Notes (selected by default)

Polished Visuals

The updated report now mirrors your Portal’s branding for a more cohesive, professional look.

• The portal logo appears neatly in the top-right corner of the report.
• The header colour matches your portal’s header, and when your primary and header colours differ, a subtle dashed line appears for a clean, defined finish.

The report also includes two structured content boxes:

1. Course and Session Details — Neatly displays the course’s name and ID, session’s name and ID, number of seats (and how many remain), location or web address, duration, start and end dates, and trainer(s) underneath the header.
2. Session Description — Appears when a description is set up for the session; otherwise, this section is hidden to keep the layout tidy.

Smoother Page Behaviour

When the list of students extends beyond a single page, the report continues seamlessly onto the next page, complete with page numbering in the footer.

Admins can also use a new setting to configure the order of enrolled students.

They can access this in the CBS via:

• Menu > Settings > Common Settings section > Order enrolled students by drop-down.

Automatic Page Orientation

The report automatically adjusts its layout for the best readability:

• When six or more columns are visible, or when the Comment (Dietary and/or Learning Requirements) column is included, the report exports in a landscape layout.
• It publishes in a portrait layout in all other circumstances.
