COVID-19 Coronavirus Prevention
Developed in collaboration with the University of South Australia, this course provides learners with clear training on how to minimise the chance of infection from the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
The goal of the COVID-19 Coronavirus Prevention course is to empower people so they stay calm and apply practical hygiene practices. This is a behavioural-based course with video instructions and a downloadable ‘Stop the Spread’ poster. The course also includes a Myth/Fact activity to dispel rumours surrounding this outbreak. It instructs the learner on correct soap and water hand cleaning and how to use alcohol-based hand sanitiser. This course is ideal training to manage the COVID-19 health risk for all organisations.
This new course is designed for all workers; but of particular importance to anyone interacting with older people or those who have recently been overseas.
This course features:
- Short course seat-time.
- Informational videos.
- An instructional video on hand hygiene with soap and water.
- An instructional video on hand hygiene with alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
- A downloadable ‘Stop the Spread!’ poster.
- A Myth/Fact activity to dispel rumours and reduce stress.
This course provides an understanding of:
- What the COVID-19 Coronavirus is.
- Some of the common myths surrounding the pathogen.
- what you can do to help reduce the risk of infection.
