Classroom Booking System – Enhancements for the session trainer role

This release introduces a number of updates for the Classroom Booking System to enhance the usability for users assigned with the session trainer role.

Session trainers can view and manage student training session enrolments

A user who is assigned as a trainer for a session is able to view and manage students enrolled into a session for a course. This includes enrolling, un-enrolling, and marking attendance status and score for all students for each training session.

Session trainers can select a predefined location for each session

A user who is assigned as a trainer for a session is able to select the location for their session from a pre-defined list. The pre-defined list of locations is managed in the settings by an administrator. This avoids the session trainer from creating new locations, as they can select all locations from an alphabetical sorted list of training locations.

Session trainers can view and edit the details of a session

A user who is assigned as a trainer for a session is able to manage all details for a session, which includes:

  • Session details and location
  • Session status
  • Session type and category
  • Session enrolment, start and finish dates and time, and
  • Group restrictions.

Session trainer can only view active sessions

A user who is assigned as a trainer for a course is only able to see courses that are active. This will allow these courses to be viewed and selected from the trainer dashboard and category displayed in the left panel.
