Catalogue Updates

New design updates introduced to the catalogue system to simplify the management of catalogue products.

In this release, updates have been introduced to the catalogue system for administrators to easily configure and manage catalogue products and settings.

The updates include the following:

  • Configuration settings have been updated to align with the version 9 design, and usability. The 'General' section has been renamed to 'Approvers' and when the catalogue is turned on no 'Title' needs to be given and no approver is required to be assigned for products & categories to be created.
  • Validations have been added to ensure all approvers cannot be removed if any products have “require approval” as their enrolment requirement.
  • When adding or editing a category/product, the “enrolment requirement” drop down will only show ‘requires approval’ if an approver has been set in Configuration, otherwise it will only have “Free” as the option to select.
  • When creating a new product, if the learning activity is added from Marketplace, information such as course description, thumbnail image, training hours and points will be auto-populated
